These are some examples of the types of projects that we have done.
REH Landscape Developmentspecializes in revitalizing old, tired landscapes. Our biggest source of clients are from people who have lived in their homes for years and are ready to try a new look in their landscape. While this is our specialty, we are not limited to only performing landscape renovations. Here's the list of all the serices that we have to offer you:
Award Winning Landscape Design: If you're looking to install your landscape yourself, this is the service for you. We'll prepare a design and cost estimate so that you can install the landscape at your leisure.
Trees, Shrubs, Perennials: Only the highest quality nursery stock - grown in the Midwest - will be selected for installation at your home. We specialize in designing landscapes that carry unique plants so that your landscape doesn't look just like all of your neighbors' landscapes.
Watergardens: The finishing touch for any landscape is the watergarden. Here, you'll add sound and movement to your landscape. Koi and goldfish can even be taught to eat from your hand. What a magical experience.
Landscape Lighting:The single most over-lookd aspect of any landscape project. How will it look at night? Most families are gone all day and can only enjoy their yards in the evening hours. The evenings are cool, and peaceful, yet dark. Add some interplay between dark and shadow and set a mood with Landscape Lighting.
Brickwork: Whether you would like a brick or stone patio, walkway or drive, REH Landscape Development can help you.
Themed Gardens: A growing trend over the past several years has been "Themed Gardens". Examples might be Victorian Gardens, Butterfly gardens, Daylily Gardens, Perenial Gardens, Hosta Gardens, Shade Gardens, Alpine Gardens, Succulent Gardens, etc.
Maintenance:All landscapes will require some form of maintenance. You can count on REH Landscape Development to assist you with your spring and fall landscape clean up projects as well as weekly or monthly maintenance.
You've been given a Landscape Design filled with dozens of plants. Perhaps you don't have a green thumb, maybe you're just not familiar with one particular plant. Try this search feature, it's tied to the Google Image Search engine.
We've found that Google has the largest variety of images of plants to be found on the internet. Make sure you scan several images to get a true feel for what your plants will look like.
Here's some links to some of my suppliers' sites that you might find useful
This is a link to my Daylily site. I maintain a National Daylily Display Garden for the American Hemerocallis Society.
This link will take you to the Nightscaping webite. I 'm a firm believer in using Nightscaping products.
I've designed several of their lighting fixtures myself.
This is a link to the Unilock website. Unilock is the manufactorer of the bricks and retaining wall blocks that I specify on my plans. You can see colors and styles here.
